Fiberglass reinforced plastics(GFRP or FRP) is a new functional material made by synthetic resin and fiberglass. It has following characteristics: light, high intension, corrosionproof, good insulation property, slow thermal transmission, good heat insulation property, good anti instantaneous extreamly-high temperature property, easily to be painted, could permeate Hertzian waves.
Since the FRP cable tray could be designed and complexed based on different using envionments and special performance requirements, we choose the choiceness raw materials to satisfy different requirements.
It is known from other steel cable tray to be formed in one time. We just need to put the raw material in correct ways and orders according to the requirements, and the FRP cable tray would be manufactured one time, in that case, it could avoid the second manufacturing compared with the steel cable tray, and saving wastes of materials, labor costs and so on.

The most typical fiberglass is non-alkali or midium-alkali fiber. Compared with the non-alkali fiber, the midium-alkali one is worse than it in almost every performances except anti acid, and is cheaper than it, as a result of it, we choose midium-alkali fiber as raw materials.
Resin is basis material, and the most typical fiberglasses include undaturated polyesters resins, epoxy resin and vinyl ester resin. Undaturated polyesters resins have such advantages as low viscosity, good wet ability, removing air bubbles easily, could adjust and control the gel time random based on requirements, best technical performance and also lower prices. Although the intensity and rigidity of it is a little smaller than epoxy resin, and rating of solidify & shrinking is much more than epoxy resin, it also widely applicated in antisepsis area. We manufacture FRP cable tray using undaturated polyesters resins and also added some high performance resins like phenol-formaldehyde resin and furan resin, in that case, the FRP cable tray would have not only great anti-corrosive property but also fire resistance property.
